Friday 5th June

Another busy day, but one that ran fairly smoothly. Everything that needed to be done got done with very little in the way of stress. Mum had an incredibly stressful day, especially when she spent 40 minutes trying to get a straight answer from the hospital as to where Dad actually was.

Today I am happy about:

• The workshop being successful, the participants seemed to get a lot out of it. I was really pleased with the way they engaged and took on the ideas that we presented to them. Most of all that they found it to be useful and relevant.

• That despite all the complications, messing around and longer recouperation, Dad still has a sense of humour............... in all it's groan worthy glory.

• No cooking, treating myself to chinese takaway with Mum at the end of a hectic week.
