A day that came and went. It ran fairly smoothly at work wise............ a little rattiness from the kids but not as bad as it could be at this time of year. Even the 8am meeting was relatively painless this morning.Today I am happy about:
- Reading to the kids........... I know this is on the list a lot but I do enjoy it. I asked them today if the supply teacher that they had yesterday had read any to them..... their response was 'no, we didn't tell her about it, we don't let the supply teachers read those books to us, only you can read them.' I thought that was really funny......... quite chuffed about it too.
- Rain that started the moment I pulled the car into the carport. It was short lived but the sky was dark and I was hopeful...... my garden could use a good drink. There are still some dark clouds so hopefully through the night.
- It is the weekend.........................................
