A day that could’ve got off to a rotten start…. I called in at my parents place and Mum wasn’t in the best of moods when I got there. We nipped out to some local shops for a few bits and pieces and things got better which was good.
Today I was happy about:
- Sitting down and watching a movie… I often have the tv on, and regularly throw a DVD in but rarely sit and actually watch anything. Usually I am on here and just kind of half listening to it. I watched History Boys, which I have wanted to see for a while. It wasn’t what I was expecting but I still enjoyed it. Now I have to do the same to concentrate on a couple that I was lent ages ago and need to return.
- Standing outside staring at the moon and stars and watching the path of a satellite overhead.
- Leeks, they have to be my favourite vegetables… just wish they were a bit cheaper in the supermarkets.
- The fact that I have a nicely made bed with crisp sheets on it to crawl into tonight.
