Not sure what to make of today...... Started on a high, with some kind caring words from a friend but it was almost as though once I locked the door behind me to go to work I woke from a dream to reality. Had an average day at work, punctuated by the usual highs and lows. Came home to nothing..... even with the TV on it was so quiet tonight. Not that it was any different to any other day, just really really noticeable :(Today I was happy about:
- The librarian put out a poetry competition to the kids, mine were so enthusiastic to get started on it it was fabulous to see. Can't wait to see some of their end products.
- One of the teachers that I have a lot of respect for told me she wanted to put me as a preference for teaching partners next year.
- My birthday card from my Grandmother arrived today, I usually only get one form her and from my parents....... today there was also one in the mail from my local councilor which was a pleasant surprise.
