Mid week and the day that you realise that the holidays are about to fly past before you know it and you had better get around to doing something productive with the time. I really do need to figure out how to get this rotten lawn mower started............
Today I was happy about:
- A spectacular sunrise that moved through the widest coulour range imaginable. It was punctuated by the afterburners of a jet going overhead. Fantastic.
- Watching a dove collecting twigs for his nest. He let me get quite close but was wary. Hopefully that means that in a few months we will have some baby birds around the place.
- Getting paid for having my student teacher back in May. Not a huge amount of money but enough so that I could do a bigger than normal (but much needed) grocery shop without too much worry.
